Recovery of the historical heritage of the estate.

Following the philosophy that we apply to the field of doing our part to preserve and improve the farm, we are recovering the historical heritage that was there. In this case, it is a cave that fell into disuse at the beginning of the last century. This cave was used by farmers who came to plow the field, both the farmer and the mule slept in the cave during the season they worked on the estate.

The wall of this cave was largely demolished and the one that remained standing was very unstable. These walls were once made by erecting two stone walls and what tied everything together (both the stones together and the two walls together) was "sauló". In this case, rainwater has been dripping down the rock that acts as the cave's floor and down the wall. This has caused that over the years the water has taken away all the "sauló", finally causing the partial collapse of the wall and leaving the rest very unsafe. We have recovered this to leave testimony of how people lived in the countryside in times past.
